BBQ Championship

Smoke on the Shores BBQ Championship will take place in Nashville on March 20-21, 2026. This KCBS sanctioned BBQ competition will host 100 professional teams and 50 backyard teams from around the country. Professional teams will compete in (4) categories for a purse of $10,000 in cash and prizes. Backyard teams will compete in a threeo (3) meat comp (chicken, ribs, & pork) and the purse will be over $5,000 in cash and prizes.

*We are required to file 1099 forms with the Internal Revenue Service for the 2026 tax year for all teams receiving more than $600 in cash/prizes.  Each team will be required to complete the 1099 forms prior to receiving funds.

*The entry fee covers both Friday and Saturday night stays. Teams wishing to arrive early will incur an additional fee per night. All teams are welcome to stay on Saturday night and depart on Sunday morning.
